Three Men in a Boat: Chapter Three

We're joined by Patsy who is reading Chapter Three of Three Men in a Boat.

The three men are busy making a list of supplies they need for their voyage up the Thames but 'it was clear that the upper reaches of the Thames would not allow for the navigation of a boat sufficiently large to take the things we had set down as indispensable.'

In a sentence that speaks to life in quarantine: 'George said "you know we're on the wrong track altogether, we must not think of the things we could do with but only the things we can't do without.'

Happy listening and tune in next time for Chapter 4!
