Today we're sharing some useful websites for home learning resources.
1. Authorfy

Free creative packs involving games, crafts, book club questions and activities – download on the website. All related to new children’s books and look like lots of fun!
Authorfy is also holding a daily 10 minute creative writing challenge hosted by a children’s author which is tailored for home learning. The challenge includes a free story snippet followed by a mini exercise to get the creative juices flowing, and then a ten-minute session of writing and a conclusion.

2. Thinking Talking
Two speech therapists have developed a pack of word games for children to support the development of speech, language and vocabulary. Can be printed or read out loud and is accessed via a DropBox file.
3. David Walliams
Lots of free resources and activities for children on David Walliams’ website. There’s colouring, quizzes, drawing, mazes, word searches, and best of all, several resource packs for lots of Walliams’ books giving interactive activities from Mr Stink, Gangsta Granny and Demon Dentist.
There is also a free audio story each day at 11am read from one of his books.
4. Red Ted Art
They have a wide selection of art and craft resources for children which are all easy and fun to do.
5. British Council
Their website has a range of activities to support children in learning and practising English including speaking, spelling, grammar and vocabulary, reading and writing and games to play. Resources are available for both children and teenagers.
