Today’s round up is about some of the amazing story times that are happening across the world, some of which feature your favourite celebrities.



Harry Potter

Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone read aloud by a variety of famous faces from the Harry Potter universe is a real treat. Get listening!

Tom Hardy's CBeebies Bedtime Stories Tom Hardy will be returning to CBeebies Bedtime Stories for storytelling sessions from his garden. Watch on CBeebies at 6:50pm all week, or watch him on BBC iPlayer


Julie Andrews library show

Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins herself) and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton, have launched a podcast where they will read books.


Mondays with Michelle Obama

The inspiring first lady has teamed up with PBS Kids for Monday read-along on YouTube where she will be starting off by reading The Gruffalo, by Julia Donaldson.

The author behind favourites like Billy Twitters and His Blue Whale Problem will be reading his picture books each week online on Instagram. These are very entertaining for parents and children alike.

The author and illustrator of the Flora series and Pearl the story of a mermaid, reads Pearl online

Sophie Blackall

"Good Night with Dolly," starring everyone's favourite singer reading bedtime stories for children, the first one is The Little Engine That Could.

Save the Children Playlist

At the moment there is a great initiative happening for the charity Save the Children in which celebrities and others are reading well-loved books to raise funds to provide food for families. Many Oscar winners like Reese Witherspoon have taken part with #SaveWithStories on Instagram. Watch your favourite celebrities reading stories here.
