Libraries Week 5-10 October 2020

Although we cannot host our usual programme of events at libraries across Slough, that isn’t going to stop us celebrating Libraries Week!

Libraries Week is from 5 – 10 October and Slough Libraries will feature a number of virtual events including special story and rhymetimes and special craft activities.

Libraries Week is an annual national celebration of the country’s much-loved libraries and their work towards building a nation of readers. This year’s theme, the role of public libraries in book culture, celebrates the books that are the heart and origin of libraries, as well as the ways libraries have adapted using new technology to give people access to reading, particularly during lockdown.
