CAPTAIN MARVEL VOL. 1: HIGHER, FURTHER, FASTER, MORE

Review by Library and Culture Assistant Awais

One of Marvel’s most beloved Avengers launches into her own ongoing series!

And if you're fairly new to Captain Marvel, then this acts as a good introduction to the character and her world.

Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) makes a dramatic decision that will alter the course of her life. She attempts to return an alien girl to her home world and defend the rights of aliens revolting against the Galactic Alliance. While investigating the forced resettlement of Rocket Girl's people, Carol finds she has a history with the man behind the plot.

Some really good artwork here. Some good interaction with Guardians of the Galaxy. It is a treat to read.
