The Summer Reading Challenge Book Collection comprises 70 must-read titles for children aged 4-11. Each title has been specially chosen to reflect key Wild World Heroes themes including the natural world, young heroes, and taking action for the environment.

Picture Books

illustrated books, perfect for reading aloud.

Early Reader Books

shorter stories, perfect for emerging readers.

Middle Grade Books

longer chapter books, perfect for confident readers.

Our Libraries are open Mon-Fri 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm. Children aged 4 and over can join the Summer Reading Challenge so come and visit us! They will receive a collector card, stickers, frisby and joke book along the way while borrowing books and reading them. Having completed the challenge they can show off a shiny medal and be presented with a certificate!
